We Care for Kids 2024 Statewide Survey

A new public opinion survey of registered voters shows that Nebraskans overwhelmingly support making major public investments in guaranteeing access to quality, affordable child care and early learning. Majorities across political parties, income levels, and every region of the state support investing as much as $190 million of state funds per year over the next ten years.

The findings were released today during a live webinar from We Care for Kids/Por todos los niños and Nebraska Extension. The desire to dedicate significant public funding to affordable, quality child care is driven by the strong belief that children are our future and early education is an important part of keeping Nebraska a great place to live and raise a family.
