They provide the care and learning that helps children, families, communities, and Nebraska thrive. A lot goes into quality early childhood education—and quality educators put everything into it through professional development, hands-on experience, and continuous improvement. It takes more than just providing care. Early childhood educators know how to nurture and help young children from birth through age 8 learn skills that will last a lifetime. A quality early childhood educator brings out the potential in each child while bringing a group of children together to learn and thrive. They also make a point of partnering with families to help them reach their goals for their children. And they make sure each child is prepared for school by being on track with their healthy development.
